His work involves assisting individuals and agencies in recognizing, dissecting, and understanding the mechanics and the impact that relationships have on individual satisfaction and overall fulfillment. As the clinical supervisor for Limelight Recovery, Dr. Whiteside brings an arsenal of clinical approaches, rapport building enhancements, and inventive tactics to quality care.
As a clinician, Michael has served in various clinical settings including outpatient private practice, college counseling centers, and psychiatric inpatient care during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also balanced this approach with procedural methods such as CBT as derived from his Master of Social Work from Indiana University Bloomington. Dr. Whiteside wholeheartedly believes in seeing the full person, assessing their suffering in their unique cultural experience, and proving care that matters most to the patient and the patient's priorities.
Dr. Michael Whiteside serves as General Partner for his group practice, Reclaiming Royalty, which involves providing strategic vision for the entire organization, managing various administrative aspects including business development, and stakeholder relationship management with various community partners.
